Cyberspace is a very difficult space to regulate and monitor. Internet has become a potential tool to indulge in both good and bad things alike. Internet can be used for great learning experience and at the same time it can be used to launch cyber attacks and commit cyber crimes.
We at Perry4Law’s Techno Legal ICT Training Centre (PTLITC) believe that international legal issues of cyber attacks must be resolved on a priority basis. We also believe that modernisation of police force of India is also needed on a priority basis. This should include trainings and skills developments in the fields like cyber forensics, cyber crimes investigations, cyber security, e-discovery, etc.
As on date, India is running short of skilled workforce to deal with sophisticated cyber attacks and cyber terrorism. There is no doubt that techno legal skills development and training institutions must also be established in India so that trainings and skills development can be managed in India itself.
Perry4Law Organisation (P4LO) has taken few little but significant steps in this direction. P4LO has launched two dedicated trainings and skills development platforms that cover various techno legal issues like cyber law, cyber security, cyber forensics, e-discovery, intellectual property protection, cloud computing, privacy protection, data protection, data security, etc. The list is just illustrative and many more specilaised and customised courses would also be available in due course of time.
In order to provide the most effective skills development and trainings in these fields, Perry4Law’s Techno Legal Base (PTLB) has launched PTLB’s Online Skills Development and Training Platform. Various techno legal skills development and training courses would be designed and made available at the PTLB Virtual Campus very shortly. PTLB News Centre has also been launched to provide news and details about various techno legal courses, trainings and skills development initiatives of PTLB. Two discussion forums on intelligence agencies and law enforcement technology in India can also be found at LinkedIn and P4LO Platform. PTLB would manage the entry level and basic courses, trainings and skills development initiatives.
Similarly, Perry4Law’s Techno Legal ICT Training Centre (PTLITC) has been launched to provide and manage highly specialised and domain specific skills development, trainings and education initiatives of P4LO. PTLITC Skills Development Institution would provide online techno legal skills development, training and education courses. More details can be found at PTLITC Blog, PTLITC News Centre, PTLITC Discussion Forums, etc.
We would make PTLB Virtual Campus operational very soon and PTLITC Skills Development Institution would also be made operational at appropriate time. If you are interested in techno legal skills development, trainings and courses, we request you to keep a close tab on our discussions, articles and news.
